The growing focus on fiduciary responsibilities was a hot topic at the 43rd annual ISCEBS Employee Benefits Symposium. Please join us live or virtually as our panel highlights recent legal activity and key considerations for retirement and welfare benefit plans. Our discussion will also include a roundtable to share best practices and ideas to reduce risk and best serve plan participants.
Meet the Panelists:Stephanie Thwaites-Mattei, CEBS is a board member of the Detroit Chapter of ISCEBS with 15 years of benefits experience. She is currently the Senior Manager of US Benefits and Global Mobility with Magna International where she is responsible for the delivery and ongoing evolution of the US Benefits, Global Mobility & US Well-being strategy. Rhonda Van Tiflin, CEBS has over 30 years of experience in the employee benefits administration field, working across a diverse range of sectors, including third-party administrators (TPAs), government, not-for-profit organizations, and private employers. With a focus on retirement plan administration for the past 20 years, Rhonda has actively contributed to ensuring compliance with ERISA, IRS and DOL laws and regulations, and balancing fiduciary responsibility concerns with the need for employee financial education. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Rhonda attained the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation in 2008. Jonathon Trionfi, CEBS, is a partner with Plante Moran Group Benefit Advisors and has over 20 years of benefits experience. He specializes in health and welfare benefit plans and has advised employers of all sizes and in nearly all industries. Jonathon is particularly focused on helping plan sponsors take advantage of alternative financing approaches and designing custom strategies to meet the unique needs of different employers and employee populations. Jonathon graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in both Economics and Political Economy. |
